Pickup Graduates from U.S. Navy Officer Development School

LT. Justin K. Pickup

June 19, 2026

Ponca City resident LT. Justin K. Pickup graduated from Officer Development School with the US Navy on 6/5/2026. Justin will continue on to the Naval Chaplain School and is expected to complete his training on July 31st, 2026 Following his training, Justin will report to Norfolk, Virginia where he will be stationed on the USS Mitscher DDG57. Justin previously served as a Chaplain for Hospice of North Central Oklahoma from 2018-2026, and Pastor of Osage Heights Baptist Church from 2020-2026. His wife Sarah Pickup and children, Polly, Katie, Brooke, Hank, and Millie will join him in Norfolk in July.

2 decades, 2 apartments, 5 houses, 3 kids, 6 foster kids, 2 small businesses, 5 acres and more plants and animals than we can count later, and we love each other more now than ever! We love doing life together, working side by side, getting ourselves into adventures, and looking at each other with that “look” when we do! Our advice to other couples is to be intentional about your relationship! Growth is a choice. Choose each other.
